Emilia Romagna

Emilia Romagna offers the visitor breathtaking landscapes, wonders for the eyes and the spirit in a mixture of colors and scents of the earth, of joy, of music, of cinema, of art.
Lovers of the sea, sun and fun choose the Adriatic coast, with the longest beach in Europe. Here they can use facilities also equipped for sports and leisure.
Places like Rimini, Riccione, Cattolica are synonymous with excellent tourist hospitality, relaxation and lots of fun.
You can then admire the beauty of the Apennines, perhaps visiting Parma and Piacenza or walking on horseback or on foot among the beautiful parks and marvelous nature reserves.
Art, history, architecture. All this offers Emilia Romagna.
Bologna, city of fairs and commerce, condenses these aspects in the Basilica of San Petronio, one of the most beautiful churches in Italy with a singular facade: half raw and half covered with marble.
Ravenna, the city of mosaics, with the Basilica of S. Apollinare Nuovo, the Mausoleum of Teodorico and the Basilica of S. Apollinare in Classe.
Among the traditional dishes we mention: the typical Erbazzone, a savory pie with spinach, pisarei and faso, small gnocchi with beans of Piacenza, not to mention tortelloni, agnolotti and any type of pasta enriched with fillings, aromas and flavors.
In Bologna we stop to taste mortadella, to be liked, why not, with the famous piadina.
Undisputed sovereign of the table of Parma, but known and enjoyed all over the world, is the Parma ham, the backbone of the temple of Italian food and wine that together with the wonderful Grana cheese and the now legendary Parmigiano Reggiano represent a pride in the world.
